Photography Assignment

Sunday, February 6th, 2011

Here are the final 10 photos I submitted for my first photography assignment. We had covered virtually no material prior to doing this assignment, so I was really just shooting based on prior knowledge. This was narrowed down from over 130 photos, covering over 30 different concepts. For the final 10 photos, each one is from a different concept.

To make this a little more interesting, I’m not posting the concepts yet. If you want, try to guess the topic for each image. I’ll reveal the actual concepts in a future post.

UPDATE: Here is the full list of concepts. Each of the shots represents one of these.

Sort of difficult to read without knowing what concepts you were “shooting” for.
I’m guessing this was not your basic, line, contour, texture, lighting, etc. type thing.
    I like 6, 8, and 9.

  2. Pondero Says:

I could think of multiple “concepts” for each of them. Maybe if you gave us the list, and ask us to put them in order, we’d have a better chance of success.

I like number 1. I’m an aged and texture guy.

That’s my dog in #4! Well, it looks just like him.

I really like #1, could it be an old Mexican restaurant?

Does, uh, Sarah know about, uh, #10?

  5. Tim Says:

1, 8, (and 10) are quite nice. Quite.
