I just now read about your injury. Sounds more of an inconvenience than anything else. Don't fester on the hit and run thing. That's done with. Consider it a biking injury, heal up and ride again.

But if you ever do see that sonofabitch..... well, you know what needs to be done.

Take care.

Silver lining: at least you didn't take the Nikon for a ride, right? Heal fast, ride faster.

That is a bummer. A bummer that it happened on vacation. My vacation, a few weeks ago, was partially ruined by a nasty cold. At least that healed quickly and it wasn't caused by a car hitting me.

Sending some positive, healing energy your way!! :-)

That sort of happened to me a few summers ago. I hit it hard after school was out and managed, through mixing wedgie and 'bent bikes, to mangle my achilles for 2 months. As to the camera, that's a bigger bummer, although it does give you an excuse to upgrade. Rest easy and be smart and patient.

they do heal fast, i broke mine about 10 years ago playing football and i needed surgery. i remember the one thing that drove me insane was the feeling of the pins vibrating in my bone while driving (if i held the wheel with that hand)
