Pleasant commutes

Friday, February 8th, 2008

I don’t have a lot to report. My commutes have been very pleasant since it stopped raining, and temperatures have been mostly around 30 degrees. I would have said that was cold in the fall, but now it feels great. I have been meaning to do some night rides, but I haven’t done any this week. Sarah and I have been pretty busy with wedding plans.

This weekend looks promising for at least one decent ride. Saturday should be 40 degrees or so; maybe I can ride a good 25-35 miles. Sunday will be colder so I’m not as sure about that, but I hope to at least ride a few miles. I’d love to go mountain biking, but with all the rain we’ve had, I doubt the trails will freeze solidly enough to ride on them. I sure am looking forward to some warmer weather and longer days so I can really start increasing my mileage.
