Well, I hope you had a good Thanksgiving even without Sarah around - and that Rob got to enjoy some turkey, too.

I'm working Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The extra money will come in handy because I'm surprising my wife with a trip to St. John USVI for her birthday next week.

DC was pretty deserted this past weekend also, which actually worked out in our favor. No waiting for restaurants, subways, bars etc. Except for the $18 I paid for a glass of wine and a bottle of Amstel it was a good time.

The university where I work also looks a little forlorn. No wreaths yet, but at least the fountain is still on!

Noah: nope, we don't know each other. But he'll be in my area this weekend so we're going to connect for a ride.

Lafayette (Purdue) and Bloomington (IU) are a couple of hours apart by automobile.

I always wondered if you and Dan knew one another. Being that I don't exactly know what Purdue campus Dan works at or where he lives other than Indiana, I never felt like asking.
