Fluorine

Fluorides are added to toothpaste and in many places, city water, to help prevent cavities. However, opponents of its use in drinking water say that it’s toxic, and some even claim it’s used by the government to make citizens more submissive.

So, in this song, the darker parts represent those who think fluoridation is a mass conspiracy, whereas the other parts represent those who take comfort in their water being fluoridated.
